Viewcube makes viewport jump around in Max 2016

Hi,

We are having problems when the viewcube is enabled for Max 2016.

When it is active, the viewport randomly jumps around when you try and select things or rotate, which is seriously annoying when doing fine poly work.

When it is disabled, everything works as it should.

Comparison video that I recorded can be found here:

Tried different Nvidia drivers/nitrous modes/steering wheel sensitivity etc but all the same.

Any ideas? (I like the viewcube) 🙂

Cheers.

Hello @Anonymous,

First, I'd like to apologize to you for your thread being unanswered until this point. I realize this thread is old, but I'd like to help find an answer for you. Are you still having this issue?

If so, I have a couple questions for you.  First, are you using 3ds Max with 2 monitors, and if so, is 3ds Max on your primary monitor?  Second, is it possible to attach a scene (however simple) where this problem is reproducible?  Thank you very much for doing so.

Best Regards,
