Hi all,
Apologies if this has been asked a million times over. I'm a great believer in paying for stuff that's used commercially: no problems there. I've dabbled for several years in Gaming, an art that's never really taken off as much as it should have in Ireland (there are lots of talented people here trying to get stuff moving, and they deserve a breakthrough: it hasn't quite happened yet) Anyway with that out of the way I'm basically not too flush, have unity, got several 3ds Max Pro certs up to '15, and want to make a simple game in unity (using Playmaker etc. as I'm not a programmer and it's not what I'm trying to show)
I basically want to see if 1/ I can do it and 2/ If anyone thinks I'm good enough on the strength of 1/ to give me a job. I've spoken to several people whose ideas have ranged from "it's grand" to make stuff and retrospectively license it (I don't think that's possible) or just buy a month's subscription and work hard to get all assets made within that month. I won't be selling the end result, just trying to get a job out of it.
Any guidance much appreciated!
Many thanks,
Tony.
