Unwrap UVW Snap...?

Maybe I'm an idiot, maybe I'm blind, but I can't find a way to make verts snap in Unwrap UVW.

I've gone digging through forums, I've gone digging through the documentation, I've hovered the mouse over every last scrap of the modifier for tooltips, I've tried editing the keyboard shortcuts...

Nothing I do makes anything snap to anything in the UVW Editor.

This is functionality I cannot live without. It's functionality that has to exist in a program like this. People on the forums say it exists in every Google search I do...but no instructions on how to do it.

I can't find it, and that makes MAX basically unusable. Someone please help.

There's a little magnet in the lower right corner of the unwrap window.  My experience is that it works best in vertex selection mode.

It looks like maybe your gui is getting cut off there.  Do you have any issues with other menus?   I think maybe you are experiencing an issue with monitor size or possibly 3dsmax starting on the primary monitor and then being moved to a 2nd monitor with different res or dpi settings.  (Could be wrong, but this article may help.)

If you use the following command in the white area of the listener window, does it toggle?

$.modifiers[#unwrap_uvw].unwrap.snaptoggle ()

I just figured it out...ugh, this is so stupid.

Apparently the mini-window with the Snap tool in it is too freakin' small to fit everything. I noticed a tiny blue line...middle-clicked, a hand appeared, and sure enough, that stupid Magnet appeared when I dragged left, blue from being activated.

And despite there being what looks like an obvious thing to grab and resize, that sub-window won't budge.

But at least I found the bleeping, censored, unprintable thing.

Thanks for your help. 🙂
