unwrap uvw doubt

Hello guys,

Its been some years i have this issue but now i really need to fix it. Please see the attached picture.

I need to get round edges in this object. I already made a chamfer with 1 or 2 cm and some edges, but the problem is in the texturing. How do i unwrap it so the corner is not that sharp weird thing?

The material has the correct map for displacement tought.

Can someone help me? thank you all**

Hi @pedrox1000,

Thanks for sharing your issue with us.

My apologies, but I can't see from the image what the issue is.

Are you able to include another picture of something closer to what you are trying to achieve for comparison?

Hope you are well.

Many thanks.

Regards,

Hello Raiden,

Thank you for your response. The issue is trying to achieve a realistic corner. I attached some pictures of examples.

When I try to get this type corner (non linear) it gets really hard. It appears just like the first picture i sent (sharp edge wich is not realistic when the wall is made by stone)

I hope you understand, if you have any question please tell me.

Thank you

Hi @pedrox1000,

Thanks for the images. That helps.

I don't think that look can be achieved with UVs. I suggest techniques like Tessellation, or 3D scanned meshes.

I hope that helps?

Many thanks.
