Unable to Install, reinstall or unistall 3ds Max 2018

Hi, I have problems to install 3ds max 2018

I uninstalled because a problem apeared (mxdotNet.dlx) more windows open after that

I uninstalled and reinstalled, the same problem

Now I reinstalled, and the "installer" says 3ds max is installed, but inst true

 I tried a proof uninstall and deleted all main local folders to find a solution

the autodesk uninstaller program stops working

now I dont have 3ds max, but I cant reinstall, only features could be installed

If solutions are not avaliable, i will have to restart my pccant uninstall, not appearnot installedno 3ds max installed 😞

hi @Anonymous, what happens when you click the top box for Max 2018 in the uninstall tool (to essentially remove those additional components), complete the uninstall, then try and reinstall 3ds Max 2018?

hello, if I uninstall all this components, that components will uninstall form pc, i tried to reinstall all autodesk products, every program could be reinstalled but no 3ds max.

the systems are not too complex, so I investigated and found a solution

uninstall all components

1.- search uninstall tool (autodesk)

2.- uninstall all 3ds max components

1.- PRES WIN+R

2.- TYPE regedit

3.- enter or OK

4.- go to the menu and find:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Autodesk / 3ds max       (search above this folder, i deleted before)

delete ONLY (3ds max) folder with rigth click       (deleting other files, could be crash your programs)

reinstall normally
