I'm currently working on a project for school where I create an animation in 3DS Max. I'm trying to create the earth and the moon using tutorials found online. In the video, when they apply a bitmap using an image of the moon's surface, the picture perfectly goes around the sphere. 1 image, and it stretches to fit. When I do the exact same thing, the bitmap just creates hundreds of smaller versions of the picture to fit around the sphere, making it look terrible. How do I fix this?

I am using 3DS Max 2020.
It looks like you have "Real-World Map Size" checked.
Select your sphere, go to the modify panel and uncheck "Real-World Map Size"
