Trouble installing 3ds MAX 2022

Hi All, having trouble installing 3dsMAX 2022 after uninstalling 3ds MAX 2020.

I keep getting this below message 

I have tried most solution on the forums - there is no hint to where the problem is?

am trying to uninstall 3d max 2022 business version its show error like back to the autodesk web site .and its token 97gb space on c drive am really disappointed help me and give a solution how to uninstall the software (autodesk 3d max )

Hi Everyone,

I'm having a different issue installing Max 2022. I'm getting a message when I try to install which says 3DS Max 2022 is currently running, please close down, which is impossible as it's not on my system at all. Has anyone had experience with this?

Thank you for your solution. I had the same issues. Your solution worked.

I bought a new and clean Dell XPS 17 inch i9 and this happened.

It is strange that Autodesk is not fixing this.

Hello.
I recently installed version 2022. I wanted to wait for 2023, but a lot of my students use 2022.
I had exactly the same problem at the beginning of the installation. I downloaded the files using the browser download method.
The first thing that popped into my mind was disabling the network card and restarting the installer, everything went smoothly without any problems.
For a few other people it also helped.
