Hello . I am  using 3Ds max to remove items from an existing Navisworks model and then transferring them to a DWG file on Autodesk so that I can manipulate and then append back in the model

Every time I do it I loose the colours of what I'm taking out and also it is in a different location and direction?

is there something simple I am doing wrong ?

thankyou

Navisworks is a project review software, not for editing the project, it is a dead end for geometry. only imports, analyze and review objects not for export and edit.
