Testing 3D Assets on Android Devices — Anyone Tried Running Them via Java Launchers?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been experimenting with optimizing small 3D environments and character models for mobile use. I wanted to see how far I could push real-time rendering on lower-end Android devices without relying on traditional engines.

While testing, I found that you can actually run certain Java-based 3D viewers through tools like PojavLauncher — which basically allows Java desktop apps to run on Android. It’s been surprisingly useful for quick visual checks and lightweight previews of assets made in 3ds Max before moving them into a full engine.

Has anyone else tried testing or showcasing models this way? I’m curious about performance differences and whether it’s worth refining further for client previews or mobile workflow demos.

(I’ve been referencing a few guides on pojavlauncherdl.com just to understand the setup — not promoting, just sharing what helped.)
