Storage Bottleneck?

Has anyone ever experienced a bottle neck in their workflow involving storage? What is your typical workflow when considering data storage? I know the older technology was SATA/SAS drives for storage, but has anyone considered upgrading to NVMe for higher data transfers?

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for bringing your question to the forums, it looks like you are visiting as a new member to the 3DS Max forum. I want to extend a warm welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I know a fair amount of teams, game devs and developers, that use online repositories like the ones listed below.

I guess it depends on team preference and budget, and of course, what kind of data you are working with, and how much of it 😄

NVMe is a way to speed up data transfer right?
