STL Export Option Missing in 3ds Max 2025 – Any Solutions?

In older versions of 3ds Max (such as 2020), there was an option to export files in STL format.

However, I can no longer find this option in newer versions like 3ds Max 2025.

What could be the reason for this? And how can we convert the file to STL format? Some 3D printer machines do not accept OBJ or FBX formats.

STL Export is really old but still available in 3ds Max 2025.

Maybe what you see is caused by running "Export selected" instead of "Export"?

As far as I can remember, the STL Exporter never supported "Export Selected", only the full scene...
