Hi

Is there any action or how can I write an Script where I can enlarge all material previews?

Not "open preview window" I mean an auto Double click action only for material preview,

Theres no issue at all, I would like to know a simple way to enlarge all material previews in SME.

Theres only a manual option for this, double clicking the image, using "open preview window" its not what I want, I just want to maximize material preview.

I’m not sure which software you’re referring to, but if the material preview only enlarges on double-click, then in many cases you’d need either:

• a UI macro/automation tool that simulates double-clicks

• or access to the software’s scripting API if it exposes preview window controls

Some applications don’t expose thumbnail preview size through scripting at all, so the only workaround becomes UI automation.

You may want to mention:

• the exact software/version

• whether you mean Material Editor previews, asset browser thumbnails, or viewport previews

• and what scripting language you’re using (MaxScript, Python, MEL, etc.)

That’ll make it much easier for people to suggest a proper solution.

If you haven't tried, you could also right click in the material and choose Open Preview Window, this way allows us to enlarge the preview with a separated window. I have published a bunch of questions and errors i´ve found but I dont receive any kind of answer, only from community mannagers that only repeat what im asking and dont supply any kind of info. I also have asked on discord and "stack" facebook group, and many times I dont receive any kind of info.
