Hi, title pretty much says it all.

When I'm in Max I frequently send (add to) existing Motionbuilder scene. Sometimes I need to individually select multiple objects from multiple files, do a one-shot for the whole scene etc. However, I always get a Max camera and Max focus point for the camera sent along for the ride. When I need to do multiple objects from multiple scenes I can get upwards of 5.. 7.. 10 Max cameras.

How do I send to Mobu and never have the camera come along for the ride?

Sorry,

I misunderstood. Thought you're asking about Exporting to Motionbuilder😊 and answered accordingly and deleted.

MotionBuilder's "File/Send to" command doesn't have an option to exclude specific objects, like cameras, when sending a scene to another application, however, you can work around this limitation by manually removing or hiding the camera before using the command.

You can Undo afterwards to go on working with the camera.

Always save before doing this because Max can lose its undo information from time to time for no apparent reason.

Cheers.
