Hi Everyone, i hope you guys having a good day.

So, it's been happening for the past 2 weeks, and today was like i had enough because sometimes it's hard for me to see where are the edges i am selecting. All faces, edges i select turns yellow instead of red, i don't know how this could happen from the first place.
For a better explanation please check images below.

edges selected turns yellow, not rededges selected turns yellow, not redfaces selected turns yellow, not redfaces selected turns yellow, not red

I hope someone can explain to me and tell me what to do to make it back to red. I miss it already hahaha

Thank you very much.

Hi @deydan! Welcome to the community!

What happens if you create a cube in a brand new scene? Does it display yellow faces as well?

If yes, I would suggest to try to reset 3ds Max user preference settings back to default.

If the cube shows normal red faces, it means that there must be something wrong in your project and I would suggest to share the scene file with me, so that I can test it locally. If the file is too big for the  forum or you don't want to share it publicly, send me a private message and I will create a private shared folder for you.

hello, I've got the same issue yesterday - let me leave the solution for others that will search for it - it doesn't involve resetting your preferences.

Go to Customize user interface > Colors > Elements: Geometry > Subselection; hit "Reset" button next to "Color" on the right top and then change it to RGB=208-0-0

That solution worked fine for me
