Scene Explorer custom attributes?

I'm trying to get more use out of the scene explorer (layer explorer), especially when setting up rendering passes. One common attribute is Object Properties> Visible to Camera. Very helpful for setting up renders for compositing, but this attribute is missing from 'Configure Columns' list. I can imagine many other attributes that would be helpful to have in the Layers panel. Does anyone know of a way to added other attrubutes/properties that are not found in the default list for 'Configure Columns'?

Only by using Maxscript,

go to this page and find: Adding Custom Property Filters

There is a example there as well, but you might better ask this in the Programming Section of the board.
