Rotate Object Snap

Hi all,

I have received a model that is not aligned. I simply need to be able to align the rotation exactly, so that the Grey item sits horizontally on the Brown item. 

I have tried moving the gizmo and then rotating with snap, this doesn't seem to work. I can get it somewhere near by eye, but it needs to be perfect. Surely this has to be an easy solution?
