When you have a shape and you hit r to resize it to your liking. all the sides work for me but the middle does not and i dont know how to fix this. if some one could help that would be great.
I'm not sure if I understand the issue you are having exactly, but I wonder if maybe you have the wrong scale tool active. Depending on what you have active in the toolbar, hitting 'R' might activate 'Select and Uniform Scale' (the default) or one of the other two options, which are not uniform.
