Problem to export in OBJ from 3ds max 2020.2

Hello I just open a support ticket today from my subcription.

I write if Know other people have the same problem.

When export in obj from 3ds max 2020.2 or 2019.3 the mesh is broken.

in 3ds max 2016 the export is ok.

The problem is with obj, with FBX the export work well.

The video is in Italian but you can see tre problem, present for me with many 3d model

I use win 10 Pro.

Hi,

In the Obj Import Options dialog, Normals group,

Choose the option "From SM Group",

The second option "Auto Smooth" works also, but first, try the above.

I try it.. some part is better but other is similar..

So for a moment I need export from 3ds max 2016.

I see the video for support Autodesk and for us work fine, but in my case work only if save obj from FBX and import with sm group, as you see at the end on the video.

in the video all work weel.... i can't Undertsand why on my computer is not like this.

I'am with win 10 pro, amd 1800 X.

For a moment I continue export my obj from 3ds max 2016, or export obj from fbx file in 3ds max 2020.2
