possible to rename custom export settings?

I know in  3ds Max we create custom export settings, but wondering if we can name them to our liking? It seems that presently I can only choose one of teh existing presets and save those, but there is no rename option.

Hello @RadioRahim,

Which format are you exporting?  If you mean FBX, there is a little button on the bottom right that says "Edit".  Click that for preset creation and loading.  Screenshot below.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello @RadioRahim,

No problem, these things happen.  It's almost a good thing because now we'll have the information in this thread for 2 different formats.  Smiley LOL

You have to click the grid icon near the presets to open the preset window.  Then right click on any entry to create a new preset.  I have an image below, please try this for me and thanks!

EDIT: Forgot to mention, you can only rename user made presets, not the standard ones.  Once you've made one, just right click on it and it'll be there.  Thanks!

Hello @RadioRahim

They get saved into a file called gw_objexp_presets.ini located at C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2017 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg
