Plane

Hi,

Is there any way to quickly create walls at the edges of a plane? Other than drawing and using the Wall in 'AEC Extended' geometry? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I'm new to this program

Hello;

No, unfortunately there is no such way, but:

You can select the edges of your plane, hold SHIFT and Move in Z axis to create new faces, but this wont be giving you a geometry with thickness.

You can apply Shell Modifier to apply thickness on your geometry after this action, but your plane will also be affected from this modifier.

To avoid that, you can simply detach your newly created geometries which you have dragged and created from edges of your plane, then apply Shell Modifier.

Also, selecting the edges of your plane and using "Create Shape From Selection" from your Editable Polygon > Edit Edges rollout, and then apply Create > Geometry > AEC Extended > Wall > Keyboard Entry rollout > Pick Spline > Click on what you have created from your plane.

These would be my two best options to go for what i need.

Best regards;
