Pflow Collision Shape Objects being deleted

Hi all,

I'm running 3DS Max 2017 at work, we make rock crushing machines.

I have a pflow setup with rocks entering a machine and the relevant surfaces have a pflow collision shape modifier on them and are assigned to the mpcollision in the pflow. All works well until I close and come back to the file and all the objects with the pflow collision shape modifier have disappeared

Anybody experienced this before?

Thanks

Update

They haven't been deleted, they've just become very small for some reason. It looks like they still render correctly but the change in size obviously means the collision doesn't work as it should

Does anyone know why opening the file would cause them to shrink like that?

Update again,

I've found a bit of a work around, if I select the deflector objects from the mpcollision in the particle view window I can deactivate and reactivate the pflow collision shape modifier and this corrects the scaling and restores things to the way they should be.

How can I stop this happening every time I open the scene? I've seen other threads suggesting resetting the xform for the objects but the option is greyed out for me
