Open Thread: 3DSMax Product deployment

Hi all,

I just wanted to get an idea of how specific companies or practices deploy 3DSMax so as to have all users (2 or 200 seats) using the same product versions? How do you also handle having everyone using the same versions of e.g. vRay, Corona, or any other 3rd party plugins necessesary for coheisive pipeline functionality... with minimum downtime? I have read the Autodesk product deployment Knowledge base articles, so I already have a fair idea myself. Although rolling out dependant 3rd party software is still a bit of a grey area to me.

This post does not need a resolution, but rather it would be interesting to hear case by case studies in working practices that have sucessfully rolled out a solution maximising on security, productivity, speed and minimal disruption.
