Network render only after restarting backburner on the render machine

Never had problems with backburner before 3dsMAX 2016. Went back to 2015 all works fine. Again work with 2016 and every time I want to render I have to restart backburner. I downloaded the latest backburner from the download site (which shows the same version number as the previous one - 16.0.0.0). Now my workflow is to shut down backburner server and restart it and then transmit the job. If I don´t restart I get the world famous message " 109 - the pipe has ended". As far as I know it is not only a backburner message. Windows and some programs seems to produce the same error message. I have edited the settings of backburner server to the specific IP-adress of the manager.

Wenn I transmit a render job the screen of the server machine  at first shows some different flickering windows on different spaces of the screen. Finally the rendering window pops up. But if I didn´t restart beackburner server before trasmitting the job the rendering window disappears after a tenth of a second and later the error message appears in the backburner window. This behaviour led me to the conclusion, that this is not an network setup error. What can I do. I have no time to install 2017 because of the customization work during working on projects. Does anybody have a solution for my problem? Also I tried to find out how to setup backburner as a service. I read a lot about it on different pages but no good tutorial how to set up it. Does anybody a good source for this? And do you also have some other flickering windows on the render machine screen before the rendering window comes up?
