Hi all, first time posting so hopefully I'm doing this right hahah
I have a scene with an object that I was working on with two elements in it. I selected one of the elements (using element select on 5 specifically) and then pressed 'hide unselected' to hide the other part so I could work on the part I selected. Trouble is, I now can't get the other hidden part back. It's definitely still there, because if I hit render, it appears in the render, but it seems completely un-selectable in the viewport.
I have tried:
- Clicking 'unhide all'
- Trying each selection type (verts, polys.etc.) and clicking 'unhide all'.
- Reloading the scene
- Exporting and re-importing the object
- Crying softly
- Ticking and unticking all the different display options on the object
- Restarting 3DSMax entirely
Any help would be super appreciated! My element is gone and I need it back 😞
