How Do you think I should go about making something similar? Would be nice if I could change the angle degree to exactly my liking too

Is the ramp tapering as if goes away from the viewer or is it a consistent shape?

Sweep Modifier is your friend. (See Video) Let me know if you have any questions.

Wow, did you make that video just now? You're amazing

Im wondering how I can get total control of the segments.

Lets say each segment is 64 units long, I want to copy that part, rotate it 5 degrees , copy the next part and rotate it 5 degrees and so on until I get the shape in the picture

That might be a bit time consuming though, do you think I can just set the combined angle, lets say 180 degrees, and say I want 16 copies of that one segment to make the shape in the picture.

I remember in Blender there was a spin modifier that could do something similar

(sorry for my english, in not english and im tired, bad combo^^)

You're welcome. I'm glad you found them helpful. I went fast-ish on the second video so if you didn't catch something, please let me know.

Good luck.

Hey, have a follow up question if you dont mind, I tried to follow your steps on the second video where you selected 1 line, then you pressed the attach button from the geometry dropdown menu, then you clicked on the line you wanted to attach. I cant seem to do that, I dont get that attach symbol when I hover over the line like you did.

Btw, can I use an array to save time on the making of the lines or something similar, I mean, if I want 20 lines each rotated 5 degrees. Gotta be a faster way to do that ? ^^

Btw, If you are curious, the reason im asking is because Im making ramps for this kind of gamemode:

Im looking to find the most effective way to make similar shapes, and because you glide on the ramps differently at different angles and slopes I need to control excatly the slope, degree, length of each segment etc ^^

When you made duplicates of your lines, were they copies, instances or references? The attach command won't work it they are instances or references. They need to be copies.

You are right. You could use the array command. In MAX there is almost always at least 3 ways to do the same task. Choose whichever way you like the best.
