max temp folder on C: movable?

Hello;

We are experiencing full disks at work due to IT giving our C: size 100Gb to install only software.

ofc this leads to problems and we created a second 😧 disk to dump our temp files from photoshop and such.

There is a problem with Max though, I tried moving our "standard project folder" from max where all our autosaves go and such, too the 😧

but the following folder is dumping up to 10Gb of dumpage while we work and I'm wondering if it's possible to reconfigure this folders position to the 😧 as well?

C:\USER\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMaxDesign\2015 - 64bit\ENU\temp

this folder path contains alot of junk that loads while working and unloads when we close max.

Is this configurable?

It's a bunch of .tmp files (see screenshot)

Did you try Customize/Configure System Paths?

You can disable the bitmap pager in 3ds Max.  It's on by default.

You could also edit your 3dsmax.ini file to choose a different location.  Just open the INI file in Notepad and search for TEMP, it should come up right away.  Then type in the new location there.
