max 2009SP1: Save Image Dialog Bug...

I found a very bad bug in the "save image" file dialog:
I often use a existing filename as a "template" for a new filename. But max ignores the new filename and overwrite the existing file 😞

1. Click on the floppy icon in the Render Frame Window
2. Select a existing filename (The filename would be copied into the "Filename" input field below)
3. Change the filename in the "Filename" input field, so it would not match a existing file.
4. Click on save

After this max display a "File Exists - Confirm Overwriting" dialog with the old filename (from point 2.) and not the new filename (from point 3.)

Thats very bad, because so i can create new files quickly. I must write the complete name new 😞

Does anyone confirm this bug? (I used max 64Bit on vista 64Bit)
Jens
