Map error when exporting to fbx

Hye guys, I keep getting this error when exporting to fbx: The following maps are only supported by 3ds Max; they will not be recognized by other applications. To learn how to convert them so they will be compatible with other applications, see the Render Map Dialog topic in the 3ds Max documentation.-Map #19. Map #19 is just a normal bitmap connected to the bump I don't understand why this is happening.

Hi,

I think it's a bug in the type of warning that you should get,

The warning, in your case, should talk about the type of materials not the type of textures,

And it should tell you that it might be imported as a standard gray material by other applications,

The type of warning you should get is something like this:

materials warning fbx.JPG

If you have any issue in your other application, I suggest you create a standard material with the same

Textures and export again as FBX. And forget about this warning.

Hye,

Thanks for the quick answer.

I have tried creating a new material, and the error still shows.

The next application to use it doesn't see the bump map.

Below a picture of my material setup:

Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks!

I think you missed the last line in my comment where I said if the other app doesn't accept

Your current material, create a Standard material instead of the Physical Material that you're using.

Wow I'm sorry, I have been using 3DS for a few weeks and was convinced physical material was the standard material. Thanks a lot!
