So I'm just messing around with lighting and texturing right now in 3ds Max. I came upon an issue where I have the box unwrapped and laid out correctly in the UV Editor boundaries. For some reason though, when I apply the checker pattern, the squares seem to be incredibly blown up or larger than they should be...any fixes?

Hello @justinww001,
TThose checkers in the unwrap don't actually affect the checker on your material. If you go into your material and then into the diffuse slot, you can tile your checker map more times to see the checker pattern. If you want your actual material check pattern to display in the unwrap, you can hit the drop down menu and select it. I have a couple screenshots here for you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
