Issue accessing 3ds Max UI using a Wacom Tablet

Hi, I'm having some problem to use my Wacom tablet on Max, the right click opens the window but i cant select anything using the pen, but if I use the mouse it works, the tablet is working fine in every other app, and I already reached the Wacom support and after reinstalling the driver they told me to reach the 3DMax support....

tablets are only meant for photoshop, or another paint application/software, sculpting texturing example photoshop the mouse will work fine but the pen won't The problem is that tablets are designed for light use mostly not meant for 3D

I know that using the mouse is the easy fix, but I have some issues with my fist and a medical recommendation to use the mouse the least I can.

first you say "you can use the mouse and that is not a problem, but you cannot use the tablet, as i said "tablets are not meant for 3d programs" if you get a mouse mat support with a indent this will arch your wrist as use the mouse if you use the mouse a lot,  this stop RSI or repetitive strain injury

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for bringing your question to the forums, it looks like you are visiting as a new member to the 3DS Max forum. I want to extend a warm welcome to the Autodesk Community!

That sounds super frustrating! I have personally not used 3ds Max with a Wacom before; I will test this  to see exactly what you are talking about, and potentially bring this issue up with the development team 😄

Which UI window are you having trouble with exactly?

I look forward to hearing from you soon!
