I did the indie license, which was great to see. It is expiring, so the auto-renewal is set to full price. That seems a little shady... can I renew the Indie? Do I do a new Indie, or am I locked into the full-price subscription now?
You're better off submitting a support ticket through Manage.Autodesk.com, asking at the Autodesk store contact email, or posting in the subscription forum than here, this is generally outside the bounds of this forum. The best someone here could do is point you in a direction, the sales/money aspect of Autodesk is separate from the 3ds Max product support.

I have seen this a couple of times, there is a bug in the system, so you need to cancel the renewal and buy the Indie version again.
