import box too large to import file

I'm new to 3d modelling, so can someone help me with this basic problem? I assume the box to confirm importing the model is below the screen, but the import box itself is too large to actually fit onto the screen. help and fixes would be most helpful, thank you.

What screen resolution are you running? Possible that it is lower than the required for 3ds Max.

 

If you have your screen scaling set to something higher than 100% try going back down.
