Please see this scene:

   Dog_Collar.zip

(it is attached as well).

I have unsuccessfully attempted to change the white background. I followed the steps found on the Internet:

Customize | Customize User Interface | Colors | Viewport Background | Apply Colors Now

TIA

Actually, the steps above succeed changing the background color of the 3 orthogonal viewports.

I would like to change the background color of the Perspective Viewport as well.

TIA

Hi,

You have the that viewport's background color set to "Environment Color".

In the top left of perspective viewport click on "Edged Faces" > "Viewport Background" then either "Solid Color" or "Gradient Color". This will restore the viewport to how you want it.

Thanks!

Since you gave me an important tip, I will reciprocate.

Windows 10 is Better.jpg

For a while I saw no reason to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. However, I now have two:

 - Windows 10 comes with a "3D Viewer". You simply double click on any *.obj or *.fbx file for a quick look.

 - The installation of Autodesk software ("Install Now" vs. "Download Now") is more reliable under Windows 10.

You can find Windows 10 on eBay for 10 bucks.

Ha! Thanks! I have several machines under my care running Windows 10 - very familiar with it. I still prefer Windows 7.

Take care!
