How to delete key frames?

Hi guys, i'm completely new to 3DS Max software. I am using 3Ds MAx 2012.  I have a model. Is it possible to DELETE the key frames and change the animation. When i created another new object, it allowed me to delete key frames, but not this one. One more thing: There are no red bars in the time slider for me to edit/ delete.   When i right click on the time slider, 3 things pop up:

- filter

-configure

-go to time

The "Delete" option is blanked out?! Any help would be appreciatied! Thanks!!

Looks like you have nothing selected in your scene.

I assume it's the dinosaur's walk or something similar you'd want to remove / adjust?

To do so, select all the bones in your scene and the keyframes should appear in the timeline. From there you should be able to select and delete them.
