How I can find the materials that are missing textures

I try to find the materials that are missing textures, not the texture itself as asset tracking provides that. But it doesn't give me the name of the material that is missing the texture.  I have tried also the bitmap/photometric paths but apart of being confusing it doesn't give me the same list of missing textures than asset tracking or the info window that appears when opening the max file.

Apparently nothing was referencing it, that's twenty minutes of my life I'll never get back 🙂

I'm glad things worked out for you @triffski.  I understand about the twenty minutes and I do strongly suggest voting on @Anonymous's feature request for this to be addressed in the future, or look into 3rd party alternatives.

It's 2020 and I still can't fix these stupid missing nodes problem.  Download a script?  After 10 versions one might think this would be an easy issue to solve.   You guys make this sound like rocket science and seem to go out of your way to make it hard than such.

I am so sick of losing hours and hours of productivity fighting the avalanche of idiosyncratic bugs and lacks of features in this software.  

THE SAME PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR OVER A DECADE NOW.
