How do I turn these off? I find them incredibly annoying, useless and distracting

I just installed 2022 and I don't see any record of what this 'feature' is or is even called it also puts on a redundant text display at the top of the viewport, I have been watching other people going through 2022 features and it doesn't seem like anyone else has this annoying thing going on
The display of vertex numbers/ID for a mesh does not show up in my installation of Max 2022 or any other version of Max I know of. As far as I know, this is not a basic feature of Max that can be toggled on and off and it would have to be scripted; there are some old scripts floating around that do that, but unless someone else had access to your computer and ran the script or maybe in the startup folder, not sure how you have this being displayed.
You are probably aware that for editable splines you can toggle on and off "Show vertex numbers" but the vertex numbers displayed have a completely different appearance than you show and it looks obviously like a mesh in your screenshot and not an editable spline.
Also in your screenshot there is a highlighted button called "Toggle Lpanel" that I am unfamiliar with and I see that you have some custom scripts, so maybe you have one that displays vert numbers and accidentally clicked on it?
Maybe someone else here is aware of a new feature or has a better explanation.
yeah I am not sure what is going on, I think you are probably right and some kind of script is doing it somehow, its not a new 'feature' for everyone, so at least I know that now, thanks!
fixed,
when I installed rappa tools (which is great for modeling) it turned on its built in "viewport stats" option that I had t o turn off, this isn't a native max feature
@andrew.kincaidFGLUE Can you kindly show us how you turned it off by chance? 😄I can't seem to find where to turn it off in rappatools.. Nevermind, I found it. 🙂
