How can I view m3g textures in 3dsmax?

So for context, I'm trying to model an asset from a mobile game.

I have downloaded a pc version of the game and have extracted the mesh files.

The mesh files are in the m3g format (i can't view them in Max), so to view them in Max i converted the models to the fbx format.

This worked great for most the models, however I have run into a problem with one specific model.

I converted the M3G file into FBX, however the actual model doesn't exist, instead it is just a collection of dummy boxes (I assume they are points of rotation for sections of the ship).

It's supposed to look like this flying silver ship;

The only other files relating to this specific model are texture files that are also in the m3g format. I've converted those textures to the FBX format but nothing happens when I import them into max.

Is there any way to import m3g or FBX texture files into max to actually see this ship?

 Any help would be appreciated.

I've attached all relevant files relating to this model if anyone can actually help me see it. Thanks.
