Hidden object showing in render

Hi,

I have modelled some tank tracks which follow a line using a PathDeform modifier. Once the modifier was applied I had a single stray set of tracks and at the time just hid the object by right clicking and selecting 'hide selection'. However, now when I try to render my scene the 'hidden' object/track shows in the render. I basically want to delete the track or prevent it from being rendered. I have tried 'unhide all' and the object does not become visible. I have the 'render invisible objects' option unticked in the render setup, and I have also selected each individual element related to the other tracks in the scene and pressed the alternative 'unhide all' button which is found in the element toolbar, but still can't find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @Anonymous and welcome to the community,

The easiest option here might be to right click on the object, select "Object Properties" and uncheck "Renderable".  I have a screenshot below, will you please try this for me?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I should have posted that I got the issue sorted in the end. The trouble is I couldn't locate the object to right click it in the viewports. It turned out I had inadvertently hidden it as an element attached to another object within my model and somehow missed it when I checked all the parts before.

Thanks for the response and suggestion none the less 🙂
