Hi I want to know what's the best beginner book around for 3ds max 2010( about the interface,modeling,animation,environmental modeling etc) before i start the 30- day trial..thanks

It be a lot of free 3ds max stuff on internet you on have to google "3ds max tutorial" and you will find a lot of sites with good material.

While not covering 2010 I found this video series on 3DS Max 2013 to be amazing, I believe the author Steve Nelle used to work for Lynda and now he's working for this other company, anyway the top and bottom of it the course is really easy to follow and goes into great detail 3DS Max 2013 Training Videos
