I'm not sure how to explain my problem but i've attached a photo to help my question...
So i'm creating my own Insect Survival game, below i've attached a picture of my Honey Bee's Stinger.
Once i finish rigging the model and animating, i will move it to Unity but before that i want to make sure of something.
About the stinger.. In my game, the honey bee will have an attack where the stinger comes out of its abdomen's end as it would naturally and deal damage.. How do i do it?
1. Do i keep this sting mesh, put it inside of the honey bee's abdomen, rig it inside of it somehow and animate it on the animation i want?
2. Or is there a way to later add the stinger to that singular animation so i dont have to unecesserally rig a stinger inside of the honey bee to be there?
If 1. is correct, how do i rig it inside of the abdomen? i can imagine that skin weighting would be a terrible pain considering i cant skin weight through a mesh, i'm a bit confused here on how to do it...
I feel like im being stupid but i just dont want to make a mistake where i have to redo hours of work just because of the stinger... If im unclear about something just tell me please, i need help.
