I wanted to make some ocean fluid simulation and I run into one issue. I used Hot4Max to create an ocean wave pattern and used it as a guide mesh in the simulation. For the guide emitter, I wanted to use a cylinder as illustrated in my attached image. For some reason, the solver generates the voxel particles above the guide mesh and not below? Can I fix it somehow?
Additional info: When I use the same plane for the guide emitter as for the guide mesh and give some thickness to it, it thickens it upwards and not downwards.
