error 8

Hi i am a student at Campus ADN in montreal canada, and i tried to install the student edition. I had it la week but i had to reformat my pc over the weekend, and when i try to install it it gives me: Aborted.(Error:8) so if you can give me troubleshoot it, it would be great thx.
