Autodesk provides two types of educational licenses.
The first is an institutional version, meant to run on computers in school labs. It has a built-in tweak that printing and rendering don't include the standard "Produced by an Educational version" watermark, but they still set the marker flag in files. The second is a student license, meant to run on computers run by students and instructors. The latter is only available as individual licenses, while the former have the normal range (network licensing is naturally preferred for lab setups).
Both of these are requested through the Autodesk Educational Portal. All of these require additional documentation to prove that it's a student, educator, or admin at a recognized educational facility.
