Editable Poly, Bridge

hi, today I was working in 3d max, I discovered that bridge ( Editable Poly, Edge ) does not work correctly. It works absolutely fine, but when I use shift to create polygons it doesn't work. Has anyone encountered this? I have attached screenshots of when it works fine and when it doesn't.IMG_20230924_195120.pngIMG_20230924_195131.pngIMG_20230924_195151.png

It is not clear on what you are trying to do here. Are you trying to use a bridge while using Shift? Can you explain more.

Yes, something like that, I think you're right. After creating geometry with shift bridge it doesn't work. In the first photo you can see it and in the others how it works with ordinary objects

It's not about using shift. You can recreate same geometry using different method and it still won't bridge.

It doesn't work, because you are trying to create impossible geometry and Editable Poly won't allow it.

You will have to detach shifted part if you want to use bridge there or drag edges from the right part with shift again to close the gap, but vertices won't weld for same reason.
