Downloading older versions of 3ds max like 3dsmax 2016-2017

I am in need of 3ds max 2015-2017 but it no longer available to download from Autodesk . What can I do in this case ? 

And is it legal to download them from other 3rd party websites

I'd say in this case it would be more worthwhile to ask a dedicated company representative:

I have seen cases where customers have been helped out in this way before.
Whereas downloading from a 3rd party website will more than likely end in tears, due to Trojans or Keyloggers integrated into the install package courtesy of some unnamed individual with nefarious intentions.
