I've downloaded 3DS Max 2019, and it says its installed- but ive never been able to actually open it. It's just greyed out and theres no shortcut for it on my desktop like Maya. Maya worked perfectly when I downloaded it, but I'm used to 3DS.

Why is the installed button just greyed out? I'm so confused.

is your windows OS completely up to date?

if you go to start and then all programs and look for the 3ds max application is it located there? that is another way you can open 3ds max, from the images is says "installed" i don't think you can reintall it again, unless you remove 3ds max from the add/remove in your control panel;

In my applications there is Autodesk 3ds Max 2019 SDK, Autodesk Civil View for 3ds Max 2019 64-bit, and Autodesk inventor Server Engine for 3ds Max 2019. Not just Autodesk 3dsMax 2019 like Maya. I have no idea what is going on. I've tried uninstalling it multiple times and it never completely removes it.
