Disable PFlow?

Hi,

I've just come back to an old scene I need to finish off and Max is hanging on load because I apparently left some silly values in a PF Source.

Is there a way I can temporarily disable PFlow so that I can open the file? All I'm going to do is delete the particle system anyway. I've tried moving a few dlls and plugin files out of their folders, but that just seems to put Max into an unstable state before it tells me the file is corrupt. The standard Esc to cancel doesn't work.

Cheers,

triff

Merge everything but the PFlow system in a new scene.

That's one option, but I have an Alembic file in it that's synced to an audio track and I want to get the exact frame ranges out of it which would be lost if I merge. Probably just gonna bite the bullet and do the maths again.

I wonder if you could merge the nodes in 1 by 1 which won't connect them but still give you your values back.  Each event should be importable, you could just skip the source node possibly.  I'm not at my machine to test it right now but in theory could work.

Best Regards,

Alfred

I couldn't find a complete solution through merging into a new scene because some of the data I wanted wouldn't have been merged - frame ranges for one. I did the maths and worked it out again from the keyframes on the merged Alembic mesh and worked them out, partly I was just being lazy and avoiding sums 🙂
