crash upon boot up

hello autodesk, can i ask a simple question, i have a serial code for a license of 2015 and i activated my license code, unfortunately, upon boot up, 3ds max always crashes and keeps prompting me to re-enter my activation code, it's getting annoying to the point that i want to uninstall max

If you go into the event viewer windows logs and then application look for any warning or error messages to do with 3ds max double click on that warning or error it will give you a reason why max crashes on start up. also if you fillout that first photo where you put your email address and submit it to autodesk and come back with the crash reporting error code then an autodesk empolyee can look it up and give you a reason and a solulation on how to fix it.

most people get the error "max has stopped interacting with window problem will now close" have you update to the lastest service pack and hotfix?

have you made any changes to your computer like any upgrades on hardware

well actually, i uninstalled 3ds max 2015, got max 2018 but now i'm bummed out because i just lost my favorite render and a company (not mentioning any names) has stopped supporting the render and now i have to spend months trying to get good renders out of a render engine i never used before

plus i switched my driver to open gl and everything works fine, so it was basically a trade off for me, still upset though, 3 days of pure frustration and this is my reward? darn you "company i will not mention"

that is why you should always backup your stuff onto usb key, zipdrive or dvd, then you will not have lost anything,

if your talking about MR and nvidia stop supporting and discontined MR then that is the way it goes. i don't know why autodesk stopped intergreating MR into 3ds max i guess they came up with arnold render, that is why i will never upgrade and i have 3ds max 9 still.
