Is there a way to convert the Bitfrost mesh once the simulation is complete to an animated mesh?  I have a simulation of cement pouring up a wellbore that is over 100 gb in size.  It would be great to be able to delete the sim file once the mesh is built.

I truly have no idea, but there is this option under the caching settings to generate .prt files...
Maybe that would enable you to import a mesh from a particular frame?
Haven't tried it myself, so sorry if this is no help...
Interesting question though.

There are a few things you could do.

1. If you want to just keep the mesh cache around (assuming you cached the mesh of the simulation) you can clear the liquid cache and only keep the mesh cache.

2. You can take the mesh cache, and re-cache that out as an alembic file and then delete all the cache from the simulation. I would just make sure you get your desired result before deleting. No need in doing a re-sim if you have what you want already. 🙂
