Changing colors of a texture for specific parts

Hi ^^
So i have a model that has a lot of parts on it like you can see and i want to change the texture colors just for the part selected here. I don't know if there is a way to do that in 3DS but it would save me so much time !

In Max you can set different material id's for selections of different polygons and then you assign a multi-sub object material to your object, which allows you to assign a different material  to each material id you have created.  And you can set the base color/diffuse color of each sub material to what you want. 

 

You can set the material id of the polygons you have selected in your screenshot in the UV editor using the Unwrap UV rollout

or you can set the material id of selected polygons from the Polygon material ID section of the Editable Poly/Editable Poly rollout.
